Approximately two pounds of apples grown by South Baldwin Farms in their orchard located 20 miles south of Lawrence.

  • Eating: Pink Lady apples are sweet, crisp, and juicy, and can be eaten as a snack or fresh out of the hand. 
  • Baking: Pink Lady apples are great for baking because of their natural sweetness, and can be used in cupcakes, crumbles, tarts, and pies. 
  • Cooking: Pink Lady apples can be used in a variety of savory dishes, such as salads, pasta salads, and Buddha bowls. 
  • Juicing: Pink Lady apples can be juiced to highlight their unique flavor. 

South Baldwin Farms does not follow organic practices, but they reduce pesticide usage via a variety of integrated pest management techniques. In addition, some of the pesticides they use are organic (OMRI certified), and they use drip irrigation to reduce water usage.
