Approximately one quart of dehydrated oyster mushrooms from Mushrooms by L.B. in Topeka. These can be added directly to your soup or stew and will help thicken it while adding flavor. Or you can rehydrate the mushrooms by putting them in a bowl with a cup of warm water and letting them soak it up for 30 minutes. Any excess water can be discarded. 
Dried mushrooms are bound to become the "secret ingredient" in your soups, stews, roasts, stir fries...anywhere you want the hearty, earthy, umami flavor of mushrooms, anytime you don't have fresh mushrooms on hand.
