Two pounds of apples grown by South Baldwin Farms in their orchard located 20 miles south of Lawrence.

Fuji apples are popular, large, round, and bi-colored apple variety with a sweet, crisp flavor and a firm texture. Great for eating fresh, in salads, for baking, or for making applesauce.

South Baldwin Farms does not follow organic practices, but they reduce pesticide usage via a variety of integrated pest management techniques. In addition, some of the pesticides they use are organic (OMRI certified), and they use drip irrigation to reduce water usage.
