If you live in an apartment or otherwise don't have recycling service, you can recycle with us! We even accept some items that are not recyclable curbside, such as plastic clamshells and wax-coated cardboard cartons.

Around 30-40% of waste in the landfill is food waste...which is such a waste! Turn your food scraps into nutrient-rich organic matter with the magic of composting! If you can't start your own compost pile, we make it easy with a bin swap program, operated in partnership with Compost Collective KC.

Even if you reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as you can, chances are you still have some waste left over. Chip bags, styrofoam cups, coffee bags, etc., can't be recycled through any of the existng options in the community. We work with TerraCycle to collect a wide variety of things that cannot be recycled elsewhere. Some items (including toothpaste tubes and baby food packets) can even be recycled for free!

Knowing what you can recycle and where to recycle it at can be tricky, but we have resources to help you out!

We believe manufactures and retailers should be responsible for the full lifecycle of their packaging. Any packaging we send to you, we will take back for reuse when possible or recycling if not!
