Approximately two pounds of apples grown by South Baldwin Farms in their orchard located 20 miles south of Lawrence.

CrimsonCrisp apples have a sweet-tart taste with notes of carmel or spice. They are exceptionally crisp, dense, and juicy and store particularly well. 

South Baldwin Farms does not follow organic practices, but they reduce pesticide usage via a variety of integrated pest management techniques. In addition, some of the pesticides they use are organic (OMRI certified), and they use drip irrigation to reduce water usage.
