As far as footwear goes, sneakers are relatively recyclable. You can recycle athletic shoes for free at Full Circle Sustainability or any of the Sole Reason drop-off locations around town. 

Other shoes can be recycled for a fee at Full Circle Sustainability as part of the paid TerraCycle program.
