Oats - Rolled
Oats - Rolled
Azure Standard
These rolled oats (also known as "old fashioned oats") are gluten-free and certified organic.
Of course these oats are good for oatmeal, but they have so many other uses as well! Try them in Irish soda bread, apple and peach crisps and crumbles, granola, muffins, and cookies—especially quick, easy no-bake cookies. You can also add them to meatballs, meatloaf, or stuffed peppers as an inexpensive and nutritious way to “stretch” the meat a bit. And don’t limit yourself to cooking or baking, either—you can even put them in face scrubs or spa masks!
Sourced from Azure Standard; grown in the USA or Canada.
Cooking Instructions: Rolled oats cook in about 15 minutes. Bring 2 cups water and ¼ tsp. salt to a boil. Add 1 cup oats. Cover and simmer for about 15 min., stirring occasionally, until oats achieve the desired texture. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand before serving.
