Chinese okra is a squash, not actually related to American okra. It has a mild flavor and works well in stir-fries, soaps, and curries since it readily picks up the flavor of sauces and seasonings. It does not have the slimy texture characteristic of American okra. Approximately 1 lb. Chinese okra, grown by Meadows@Moonlight.
