We’ve had an eye out for affordable secondhand bulk bins for years, and we finally found the right deal this week: an extensive, well-priced set within driving distance! These bins will help us realize our vision of a one-stop sustainability shop with services for recycling and composting, local food, and all the essential pantry staples, package-free, in one place.

A donation from the Giving Tree will give us a good start, but it won’t cover everything. So we are coming to you, our community, to ask for your help. If you want to see a future where you can buy package-free pantry staples right here in Topeka—without driving to Lawrence or Kansas City—now’s the time to help make it happen. We’re planning to rent another room at Stout, which will double as a space for processing, gathering, and hosting workshops as we expand our local food and recycling programs.
