Automotive Waste

The easiest place to dispose of most automotive waste is the Household Hazardous Waste Facility. They accept oil, transmission and other fluids, antifreeze, and up to five tires per year from Shawnee County residents. Many automotive shops also accept used oil, fluids, and batteries, as well as tires (for a fee).
