Our second Fix-It Clinic was a solid success! On Saturday, we had:
- 14 volunteers who served
- 25 guests with
- 41 items in need of repair—
- 31 of which they were able to fix!
About a third of the repairs were sewing projects, and another third were small appliances, lamps, fans, and other miscellaneous electronics. Other items included a stroller, a picture frame, and a hand sanitizer holder. We were so impressed with our volunteers, some of whom took on projects well outsidethe areas they came to work in! Even if they didn't have exactly the right tools, they did a great job of making do.
