Repair Report: May 2
Yesterday's Fix-It Clinic screamed "Spring!" with a lawn mower, a chainsaw, a hedge trimmer, gardening wear...and by far the lowest number of lamps ever (who needs those with all this daylight?!). Thirteen fantastic volunteers served 26 clients with 38 items in need of fixing-—over 70% of which were repaired. Successes included a challenging boombox, a sewing machine, and 19 metal pants hangers that needed some "alterations." Thank you to everyone who spent their afternoon building community and keeping good things from going to a bad place!
We happened to score a fantastic photographer (Kelly Magerkurth) for the event, and a small selection of her excellent pictures are below.

Thanks so much to everyone who came to help!
It's not too soon to mark your calendar for our next Fix-It Clinic: July 11 from 1-4 p.m. If you’re feeling inspired to join the fun as a volunteer, go ahead and sign up right now!
