Kernza® Perennial Grain - Egg Noodles

Kernza® Perennial Grain - Egg Noodles

Sustain-a-Grain

These egg noodles are made with durum wheat flour, whole grain Kernza® flour, unbleached wheat flour, eggs, and water. They're delicious anywhere you typically use egg noodles (chicken noodle soup, mushroom stroganoff) or even in Italian or Asian noodle dishes. Comes in a 12 oz. paper bag.

Cooking Instructions: Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add noodles and return to a boil for 4 to 7 minutes. Drain.

About Kernza®

Kernza® perennial grain is a cousin of wheat that was developed by The Land Institute in Salina. Because it lives for years, it grows enormous roots that help stop erosion, trap carbon, and prevent runoff. The grain we carry is grown on family farms in Kansas and Nebraska. It is non-GMO, regeneratively grown, and pesticide free.
