Our Impact
Sustainable Agriculture
We partner with 20+ local producers who prioritize sustainability in their farming operations. This includes practices such as:
- No/low-till farming
- Integrated pest management
- Cover cropping
- Crop rotation
- Prairie restoration
- Composting
- Livestock integration
These practices support the health of the planet as they increase soil biodiversity, sequester carbon, improve water cycles, reduce erosion, decrease the need for irrigation, and minimize reliance on synthetic chemicals.
Supporting local farmers also increases the resiliency of our food system, strengthens our local economy, and reduces the greenhouse gas emissions involved with food transportation and storage. Local food is fresher, so it retains more nutrients. And vegetables grown without chemicals—or meat raised on bugs and grass—is simply better for our bodies than foods produced with pesticides or raised on factory farms.
Waste Reduction
We work to reduce waste in many ways: through our bulk grocery and soap refill programs, recycling and composting services, and community repair events. Here's a glimpse at what we've achieved so far:
- 2,424 food and beverage containers refilled
- 1,437 soap and lotion bottles refilled
- 433 lbs. of items recycled with TerraCycle
- 600 gallons of "standard" recycling collected
- 98 gallons of food scraps composted
- 38 items repaired at Full Circle Fix-It Clinics
As of September 2025
