Fix-It Clinic Provides the Community with Free Repairs on Various Items

MARCH 14, 2026, via WIBW

TOPEKA (WIBW) - Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Full Circle Sustainability hosted a Fix-It Clinic today. Anybody could bring in broken items to get repaired at no cost. Volunteers fixed items like applicances, electronics, furniture, and more. Organizers say it's important to help community members and the environment.

"We think it's a really great way to keep items out of the landfill and to help people at the same time. So many people are really frustrated by the fact that things break easily, it's hard to get in and fix them sometimes. We don't all have the tools and we don't all have the expertise to fix them ourselves," said Justine Greve, Executive Director of Full Circle Sustainability.
