Repair Report: July 2026
We saw a lot of joy at the Fix-It Clinic today—like this moment of victory as volunteer Susan got a hug in exchange for the sewing machine she fixed! Our intrepid volunteers tackled the highest number of repairs ever and fixed (or offered advice on) a record 95% of them!
In addition to the usual appliances and mending projects, musical devices was the theme of the day with four boomboxes, two turntables, and a music box for a baby crib. One of the people with a record player was happy that she can now listen to the vinyl albums her dad had made! It was once again a wonderful day of repair and community connection. Thanks so much to everyone who gave their time to make it happen.
