Donating items that cannot be resold just puts the burden of disposal on the organization you're donating to.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003ePoor Condition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBooks in poor condition can be recycled by removing the cover, then using a knife to cut off the binding and glue. Throw this away (unless you want to try to compost it) and recycle the paper in your curbside bin or at Full Circle Sustainability as part of the\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/fullcirclesustainability.org\/products\/recycling-service\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e \"standard recycling\" program\u003c\/a\u003e.
